Privacy policy

Last updated: 5 October 2026. This explains what data The Oh No Club collects, why, and what your rights are.

Who is responsible

Tolgay Budayici, Avenue de Budé 35, 1202 Geneva. Contact: bonjour@theohnoclub.com.

What we collect

Newsletter: your email address, if you subscribe.

Purchase and sign-in: your email address, the date of your purchase, and the Stripe identifiers of your payment. Your card details go straight to Stripe and never reach us.

In your browser: the lessons you mark as learned and your cursor choice are saved on your own device (local storage). A sign-in session cookie keeps you signed in. We use no advertising or tracking cookies.

Why we use it

To send you the newsletter you asked for, to let you buy and access the Collection, to sign you in, to answer your messages, and to meet our accounting obligations.

Who handles it for us

MailerLite (newsletter), Supabase (accounts and database, hosted in Ireland), Stripe (payments), Vercel (website hosting) and Infomaniak (email). Some of them are located in or transfer data to countries outside Switzerland and the EU, in particular the United States, under the safeguards these providers offer, such as standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

Newsletter data stays until you unsubscribe. Account and purchase data stays for as long as your access exists. Accounting records are kept for the period required by Swiss law, which is up to 10 years.

Your rights

You can ask us at bonjour@theohnoclub.com to see, correct or delete your data, and you can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time with the link in every email. If you are in the EU you can also complain to your data protection authority, and in Switzerland to the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
